Music Video 4th 9 weeks Projects 1-4
Music Video Reflection
For this project I worked with Hunter and Victoria. Victoria was our adviser, Hunter helped me with the editing, and I did the camera movements and animation sections. When we started, our hope was to create a full length music video. When we required help with the project, we asked our teacher Ms. Harriman or one of our fellow students. Now that it is done, we can say that we are happy with the music video we have produced. Making the storyboard and reflection was done in the pre-production stage and during production, we filled lyric blanks using Adobe After Effects animation presets. To improve our project, I think I could've spent more time with the flow of the scene and managed the time spent working on the project.
4th 9 Weeks Reflection
In this quarter, I needed to make 4 projects using Adobe Premiere. I went to some of my peers and my instructor for help with the software. For the music video I used kinetic typography and animation presets that would fit with the song that I selected. I partnered up with two peers on how the music video should be presented and what elements to implement into its design. Unfortunately I did not manage my time with this project and I was unable to finish it completely. Towards the end I had to skip a few camera points and so a few lines towards the end are motionless. Overall, I am pleased with how the finished sections came out and how well the animation portions fits with the beats.
